Dana's mastery of Reiki and Jorei, a Japanese healing technique are exemplary tools for her mind/body wellness approach.  These non-invasive techniques are used to relieve energetic blockages in the body, restoring balance while promoting relaxation and self-healing.  Reiki is often conducted as an alternative healing practice but is also used as a complementary therapy alongside traditional medical treatments to support overall well-being.

What to expect: in-person sessions

During a Reiki session, a practitioner acts as a conduit for this healing energy, gently placing their hands on or above the client's body. The energy flows through the practitioner's hands into the recipient helping to balance and harmonize the energy centers in the body, also known as chakras.  While experience can vary, clients often describe Reiki as a deeply relaxing and calming experience.  It is found to be beneficial for reducing stress, alleviating pain, and enhancing emotional well-being.

What to expect: virtual sessions

Distance healings can be conducted via Zoom sessions. Remember, energy transcends space and time and healing sessions can be done from anywhere.

*Jorei Healing Technique:

Created and developed by 20th-century Japanese healer, Mokichi Okada. After his spiritual awakening in 1926, he believed that human suffering and illness were caused by spiritual impurities that could be purified by the transmission of divine light energy from a healer to a recipient. Similar to reiki, this non-invasive technique is used to re-balance and restore the body with nature.
